Spring has arrived!

Signs of new life everywhere!

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a NEW creation. The old has gone and the new has come."

Wonder

I had the most beautiful day today! Blue, cloudless sky, warm....I randomly parked the car, walked across some fields, and found an amazing spot right on the edge of a steep, grassy "cliff" over Lake Ontario. It was stunning...words can't describe the feeling of just sitting there, no signs of humankind anywhere, sky above, and bright blue water as far as the eye could see. Water and sky with nothing separating them! I sat there for about 3 hours just basking in the glory of God's creation and His presence. Photos that just don't capture it:

The Cloud Appreciation Society

While some of us are rejoicing over the blue skies of Spring, for some they are not so welcome....check out this website. And if you join, for a small fee you can receive your VERY OWN official membership certificate and badge. Wow, delay no longer! There is a "Members Chat", "Members Poems" section....I think I might submit a poem.

"Oh for blue skies and sunshine
Oh for blue skies and sunshine
Oh for blue skies and sunshine
DARN the stupid clouds
DARN the stupid clouds
DARN the stupid clouds!"

I think it would be rejected cause it doesn't line up with their Manifesto. :-(

Well, here you are, folks -- check it out: www.cloudappreciationsociety.com

"At The Cloud Appreciation Society we love clouds, we're not ashamed to say it and we've had enough of people moaning about them. Read our manifesto and see how we are fighting the banality of ‘blue-sky thinking’. If you agree with what we stand for, then join the society for a minimal postage and administration fee and receive your very own official membership certificate and badge."

Daylight Ravings

Getting used to the onset of Daylight Savings is worse than recovering from jet lag! Rather than toss and turn wide awake-edly, I decided it's a good time to update my blog! How exciting for all of you! ;-)

I think the degus' are having a hard time adjusting to the time change too...they ususally sleep when it's dark but are very active at the moment. Tempting to shake the cage and yell at them to shut up, or even throw it out the window....I wouldn't.

Oh as for the toilet roll photo, I just had a dispenser installed beside my bed. It's the most innovative thing I've ever done. Paper on hand for blowing my nose (I'm sick AGAIN), chewing and firing at the ceiling (which is low and sloping above my bed, since I am in an attic room...so before you start feeling impressed at my skill....or, you can just be impressed at my skill!), doing toilet papering pranks on myself, etc etc. Highly recommend it. The cream paper matches virtually ANY colour scheme, too.

If anyone knows how to post movies on a blog, please let me know. I have a great one.

Well, on that exciting note I don't really have much more to say....it's stormy outside so I feel nice and cozy in my bed, getting extra warmth from the laptop on my lap!

Buenos nauchets!
